    • Learn German in Munich, famous for the Oktoberfest and loved for its relaxed atmosphere!

    You can choose between 20 (Standard Course) or 25 lessons (Intensive Course) per week as a group course.

    The Standard Course offers speaking, listening, reading and writing skills in small groups of maximum 12 participants. In the Intensive Course you will also develop the skills provided by our Standard Course with an additional special focus on communication. Maximum 12 participants. There are also different kinds of combinations with individual lessons or just private lessons available. One lesson lasts 45 minutes. In one class there is a maximum of 12 students. There are no classes on official public holidays.

    Accommodation

    Bed and breakfast is provided with carefully selected host families, where a twin room is shared with another student of a different nationality. Half-board and single rooms are available at extra cost.

    Shared students apartment with single and twin rooms as well as private studio apartments, both self-catering, are available for those students who would like to be more independent.

    We also organize hotel and business apartment accommodation upon request. 6 nights/7days, Arrival: Sunday, Departure: Saturday.

    If you wish to have a transfer to or from your accommodation we will be happy to arrange it for you.

    GENERAL INFORMATION

    There are two types of accommodation you can choose:

    1. Homestay
    If you want to fully immerse yourself in English culture then you may enjoy homestay accommodation. You will live with a local family with breakfast and an evening meal included. On Sundays, lunch will also be included.

    Homestay hosts may be older people whose children have left home, they may be a full family with children, they may be a younger couple or single people: the school has over 200 hosts in the city, so the school will always try to place you in a suitable home.

    The homestay department spend a lot of time and care finding the host families and the homestay co-ordinator is in school every day in case you have any questions or difficulties. The school listens to your preferences (some people don’t want to live with pets, for example) and the school can also cater for special diets, e.g. vegetarian or halal.

    Most of the homestays are situated in the suburbs and are 20-40 minutes from the city centre by public transport [bus or train]. The school has no homestays in the city centre. All families have been visited by the school and had a security check.
