    • OHC English Centre in Oxford is a small and friendly International school of English, located in the centre of the city. The school has a supportive and caring atmosphere, and you are always sure to find a warm welcome. OHC are accredited by the British Council.

    Oxford is only an hour or so from London and is one the most famous, oldest university towns in the English-speaking world. Yet it is still a vibrant university city with beautiful architecture, lush gardens and expansive parks. There is always something to do in and around Oxford, such as visiting an Oxford University, punting on the river, or relaxing in one of Oxford’s traditional English Pubs. From the varied rural landscape of Oxfordshire, which is excellent for cyclists and walkers – to the cultural getaway in Oxford – renowned for its history and heritage.

    The OHC English centre is perfectly located right in the heart of Oxford, surrounded by Oxford University colleges. After school you can easily go shopping or visit some of the attractions, such as the Covered Market, the Bodleian Library or the Ashmolean Museum. The college in Oxford has an atmosphere that is informal and friendly – providing an excellent environment for study.

    Course details

    General English Courses at OHC are designed to develop excellent Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening abilities.

    At higher levels the school aims to foster skills that will allow you to work in an English speaking environment with confidence in your language ability.

    The qualified and experienced OHC teachers ensure that you can master the whole language by improving your ability to use English Grammar. They will even make your pronunciation sound more natural and easier to understand to everyone.

    The school provides you with a flexible, goal orientated classes to ensure that progress can be made to any schedule. This ensures OHC really is the best place to learn English in London and the UK!

    Learn how to use your English language effectively in everyday settings and situations. The staff will guide and improve your skills in Speaking, Listening, Reading, Writing, Vocabulary and Grammar.

    At the beginning of your course – to put all new the students at ease – the school will assess your current level of English and place you in a designed class at the appropriate level to ensure the greatest progress to all the students.
