The University has always been, and continues to be, imaginative in recognising new needs and developing appropriate offerings for its many target markets. The University also has a strong and historic commitment to promoting equality and embracing diversity. As a place to work or to study, we strive to strengthen the reputation as a welcoming and inclusive organisation.

BA HonoursMarketing Management

This is a general undergraduate degree in marketing, for those who see their future career in marketing, but do not, at this stage, wish to specialise any further. The degrees in marketing have a shared first year which allows you to experience all the main areas in marketing before you finalise your degree to match your career choice. We are aiming to provide relevant exemptions from professional bodies, including the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) and the Institute of Direct and Digital Marketing (IDM).

Marketing managers are responsible for deciding what products to sell, to whom, for what price, where, when and how. They have to set and achieve the sales targets, and ensure the profits and repeat business. As such, marketing management is considered by many to be one of the most stimulating and satisfying careers, and this course will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills needed to pursue such a career.
