    • The junior summer centre is located at Lord Wandsworth College, an hour outside of London in the beautiful English countryside. It is a purpose-built boarding school and the facilities are world-class.

    The programmes

    WSE has a reputation for serious, academic study combined with fun, and the juniors programme follows the same ethos. The friendly, enthusiastic and caring teachers offer interesting and imaginative classes to ensure you will not only learn quickly, but also enjoy yourself. The school offers two programmes at the WSE Junior Summer Centre:

    • General English plus Language Skills Workshops
    • Cambridge First (FCE) Examination Course

    Accommodation

    Girls and boys live on campus in boarding houses, which are light and bright with large, well-equipped relaxation and leisure areas. They are surrounded by green space so students can enjoy the gardens on warm summer evenings. WSE staff live on campus and provide an excellent welfare service to students and staff 24 hours a day.

    General Welfare

    At the WSE Junior Summer Centre, the welfare and happiness of the students in the care is the main priority.

    • Use of a kitchen to make tea and toast

    Meals

    A healthy range of food, including typical English meals and international dishes, is provided in the school’s dining room.

    • Vegetarian, halal, dairy and gluten free meals available
    • Breakfast, lunch and dinner are provided in the school dining room
    • A packed lunch is provided on excursion days
    • Snacks are provided in the Common Room at break times
    • There is a Tuck Shop to buy refreshments and snacks
