Financial English

The modern financial industry is vast and complex. As a professional working in this field, you will already be aware of the importance of first-rate international business communication. The Financial English course is specifically designed to enhance your pre-existing English skills. Particular emphasis is focused on addressing clients in the correct register and tone – both in spoken and written English. Key financial terminology is also a large component of the course.

Who is this course for?

The course is suitable for in-company accountants, bankers, internal auditors, finance managers, directors and divisional managers, in-house counsel and international lawyers. Any other professionals working in the finance industry are also eligible.

What are the course requirements?

We ask that you complete a short Needs Analysis. We may also ask for an online video assessment (eg. Skype) to establish your motivations and goals and to ascertain your level of English (B2 Upper Intermediate or above is ideal).

How long can I take this course for?

The course is as flexible as you need it to be. You can take it for as little as 2 week or for several months. Classes begin on the first Monday of any month and you can choose a time that is convenient to you – a morning class (9.15-12.30) or an afternoon class (12.40-16.35), or a combination of Professional English with your chosen specialisation for the 30-hour course.
