When I was invited to visit the city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, I knew little about it, because like most people, for me Florida meant Miami.
The city is famous for the fact that it is from here that tourist cruise liners depart for the Caribbean. Fort Lauderdale is sometimes also referred to as the “Venice of America” because of its extensive canal system.
It is also famous for its beaches and, of course, the opportunity to sail yachts (it is the yacht capital of America after all!). It was here that I saw Steven Spielberg’s yacht while walking along the canals, as well as celebrity homes, which cost tens of millions of dollars!!! Everything looks like it is from an American TV series that we watched in the 90s.
The Language Academy (TLA) is one of America’s leading language schools. Founded in 1998, today it has branches in many U.S. cities, as well as summer language camps for 14 to18-year olds in Los Angeles, Miami Beach and Fort Lauderdale.
The Language Academy is one of the best language schools for international students and businesspeople. The Academy is accredited by ACCET (Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training). TLA is officially recognized as a hub for TOEIC and TOEFL, and is part of IALC, FIYTO, ALTO and AAIEP. English for Executive Assistants is suitable for people working in business with who need corporate communication skills with foreign representatives. Every week, The Language Academy offers a tour to explore Florida life
I was very impressed by what I saw, and if one day you fly to Florida, be sure to come here to see such a stunning American (rather than Latin) city, where you can relax and learn English all year round.
