This course German for teachers reviews and discusses latest developments in teaching German as a foreign language. You can fine-tune your German and update yourself on recently published specialized literature and a variety of materials designed for teaching German. Visits to educational institutions in Berlin can be arranged.

Two course types:

1. One-to-one: 20, 30 or 40 lessons à 45 minutes per week | all levels (recommended B1 or higher);
2. Combination of group plus one-to-one: 30 or 40 lessons per week = 20 group lessons (max. 12 participants) + 10 or 20 individual lessons. The group lessons train General German, the individual lessons Business German.

• You’ll have the opportunity speaking about pedagogical approaches, educational concepts as well as the curriculum in particular.
• There’s plenty of time for intensive professional discussions among two experienced colleagues – meaning your German instructor and you, a teacher as well. This way, you can develop new ideas, talk about new teaching materials and about encouraging intercultural comparison.

No matter if you work at a private language institute or a public school: being a professional teacher you always experience instruction only from the teacher’s point of view! If you decide taking our Teacher Training course you’re going to play the student’s part for a change and, thus, you’ll understand how differently teaching methods will be perceived from the learner’s point of view.
