3-minMany of my students want to study at prestigious British universities and they dream of plunging into their unique atmosphere!

How do you achieve this when most of these institutions do not offer short courses, and it’s quite difficult to get here anyway. Summer programs come to the rescue, which are organised by other organisations, but they rent premises at these
prestigious establishments.

So, for example, I want to tell you about my visit to my students, who spent their holidays at Kings College London, with beautiful views of the Shard and the surrounding area.

For reference:

King’s College London is a public research university, the fourth oldest university in the UK, founded in 1829 and included in the Russell Group list, an elite association of prestigious universities in the UK. It should be noted that it is also listed in the TOP-100 of the world rankings.

Alumni and teachers of the university have contributed to the discovery of the structure of DNA, hepatitis C and the HiggsBoson, pioneered in vitro fertilization, stem cell cloning and the modern hospice movement, played a key role in the development of radar, radio, television and mobile phones.

14 Nobel laureates have studied and worked at King’s College. KCL alumni include writers Arthur C. Clarke, John Keats, Somerset Maugham, Virginia Woolf, Thomas Hardy, Queen bassist John Deacon.

King’s is the largest medical education center in Europe: It is ranked 8th among the best universities in the world to study medicine. In addition, the university is one of the founders of King’s Health Partners, one of the most important biomedical research centres in Europe.

84% of the university’s research was recognized as “cutting-edge” or “international” (Research Excellence Framework). The university is the sixth in the world in terms of research capacity. Of course, all this is not in vain. For all studies, there is a budget of about £273 million a year!

During the summer program, interviews are also used to select students for admission to the highly competitive Faculty of Medicine. Additionally, students get to experience what it is like to live and eat like regular students do throughout the year.

It seems to me that such courses are very inspiring for further achievements!
My students told me that they were more motivated to study even harder.
No picture will tell as much as the real experience of being here.
