The annual Independent Schools Show was held in London from 13 to 14 November. For the first time since the pandemic, it was offline!!!

The exhibition included representatives of more than 200 British boarding schools, 4 zones were organized for discussions and plenary sessions from the leaders of British education, more than 100 speakers in total.

Of course, many topical issues were discussed:

  • How to go about choosing a school for a child
  • How to gain entry to a selective school
  • How to determine if a child has Special Educational Needs (SEN) and how children with SEN can be helped.
  • Choosing between the options of single-sex schools for boys and girls, or mixed.
  • How to find a good school in London.
  • If you need to change the school and what needs to be taken into account, and so on.

As always, it was a useful event where it was also possible to buy literature and chat with representatives of schools, learn more about the requirements for admission, ask questions and prove that online events cannot compare with the living atmosphere of the live exhibition.
