Recently, the staff of Study British English visited the CES school in Edinburgh. We would like to share our impressions with you!!
The Centre of English Studies (CES) is located in the heart of Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city, a short walk from Prince’s Street, one of the city’s main streets giving students a great opportunity to explore Historic Edinburgh. From the windows of the CES English language school you can see the impressive Edinburgh Castle, and close to the school building there are a huge number of shops, restaurants, cafes, banks, everything you need to learn English in Scotland.
CES Edinburgh is located in a historic building in the heart of Edinburgh. Students can work on improving their writing, speaking, and reading skills. The only requirement for studying at this school is to have achieved primary knowledge of English (Level A1).
You can start classes on any Monday during the year. Classes are held in small groups of up to 14 people, allowing the teacher to give individual attention to each student. All the classrooms are equipped to the highest standards. In the summer, all students can enjoy the school’s garden, where barbeques are regularly organised.
CES offers a wide range of accommodation options:
- Family accommodation: a maximum 20-minute journey by public transport from the school (four-bedroom, half-board with private bathroom). Excellent conditions for learning Scottish traditions and culture and expanding your English vocabulary.
- Accommodation in student apartments: a maximum 20-minute journey by public transport from the school (single rooms with private bathroom, shared kitchen and living room, dining room, laundry services). A unique chance to make new friends and to be at the heart of student life!
